The Canadian Charger Submission Guidelines
The Canadian Charger
More by this author...The Canadian Charger welcomes feature and opinion articles.
The Canadian Charger welcomes feature and opinion articles.
The recommended length for opinion articles is 750 words, but features may be up to 1,500 words.
For longer pieces, please consult with the editor in advance.
The use of an anonymous source is discouraged, but if deemed necessary for a story, anonymity will be respected as long as The Canadian Charger is made aware of the identity of the individual.
Specialist writers are asked to bear in mind that The Canadian Charger serves a general audience, and that their pieces should be written accordingly with minimal jargon.
Submissions must be sent in MS Word format (both as an attachment and also embedded in the e-mail) and be set in single-spaced 14-point Times Roman. Paragraphs must be unindented and separated by a single line.
All pieces will be edited for length, taste, legally and conformity to Canadian Press style.
Please also email us a good quality photo of yourself in jpg format to be used if your piece is accepted.
We ask that all submissions be sent exclusively to The Canadian Charger before being submitted elsewhere.
Writers will be notified within 24 hours if their piece will be used.
