The "big surprise Canadian speaker" at the celebration of the 46th Anniversary of the Palestinian Revolution January 22, 2011 at the Vic Johnson Community Centre in Streetsville was Bob Rae. The crowd cheered and clapped for him like he was a hero, even though most did not know who he was.
On 23 March 2011 the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the United Nations Rapporteur Richard Falk (Professor Emeritus of International Law at Princeton University) told the world organization's Human Rights Council that the "continued pattern of settlement expansion in East Jerusalem combined with the forcible eviction of long-residing Palestinians are creating an intolerable situation."

Among the many allegations Muslims face, "radicalizing of Muslim youth" is one, so often repeated, that almost everyone believes this to be true. What is even more troubling is when we see some of our leaders and imams agonizing over this allegation and subjecting the Muslims to baseless jeremiads. So, it behooves upon us to scrutinize if this allegation is based on myth, chicanery or credible facts. We might then feel some solace to our troubled conscience.

Last Thursday night I spoke at the University of Western Ontario in London about my new book Canada and Israel: Building Apartheid, but the meeting was almost cancelled by the University after it was told that I was wanted on charges of assault - a complete and utter lie.
Would any rational person conclude that Canada is a bad country if every year it produces 30 violent criminals (about one for every one million Canadians)?
The 99% movements - called Occupy Wall Street/ Bay Street/ etc. - are making history as the participants reclaim their future and the future of next generations from the 1% who control - by hook or crook - the financial sector, media, and politics.
